I can understand whereas I couldn’t totally understand before.
물론이죠. 처음 이곳에 왔을때 레벨 5였던 제가 지금은 어드밴스드인 레벨 10 수 업을 받고 있구요 또한
아이엘츠 수업도 받고 있습니다. 그리고 정말 깜짝 놀래기도 해요. TV를 보거나, 신문을 읽거나, 이곳에서 만난 친구들에게 이메일을 보낼때마다 제가 이해를 하고 있다는것에 대해서요. 그전에는 전혀 그러지 못했거든요.
Have you taken any exams at the school? Were you successful?
Unfortunately, not yet. I’m a little afraid to take exams in English because I think it’ll be quite difficult. However, I’m going to take the IELTS exam on 21st of October. I just want to check how my English has improved.
아직은 한번도 보지 않았습니다. 영어로 시험을 본다는게 좀 어려울거라는 생각에 좀 겁이 나더군요. 하지만 다가오는 10월 21일에 아이엘츠 시험을 보기로 계획했습니다. 단지 제 영어가 얼마나 늘었는지체크해보고 싶어서요.
How will your improved level of English help you when you return home?Maybe it’ll be really helpful to find my job in Korea. Nowadays, almost all companies tend to find employees who have a good English speaking ability. So I reckon if I finish my English course successfully, I’ll get a higher position in a company.
아마도 한국에서 직장을 구하는데 큰 도움이 될거라 생각합니다. 요즘들어 대부분 의 한국 회사들이 영어 구사 능력이 뛰어난 고용인을 선호하거든요. 만약에 제 영어 과정을 성공적 으로 마치게 된다면 회사에서 좋은 자리를 보장받지 않을까 생각합니다.
What would be your advice to a student who intends to come to London and Hampstead to study English?I would say to him/her, who intends to come to London, the best way of studying English is staying in London and I recommed that they need to experience British culture. In addition, if their place is the Hampstead of English school, it’ll be fantastic.
First of all, there are not only many experienced teachers but also the most suitable learning environment to learn English. Secondly, you can find a great social programme with different activities every week. Moreover, you can stay in very good accommodation which is provided by them. Finally, a good advantage is that you can meet many people who are from various countries and you can have a good relationship with them.
런던에서 공부하고 싶어하시는분들께 이렇게 말씀드리고 싶네요. 영어 공부하는데 런던에 머물러보는게 가장 최상의 방법이라구요. 또한 영국 문화를 경험해보시는 걸 추천해드리고 싶습니다. 덧붙여서 그 장소가 햄스테드 영어학교라면 더할나위 도 없겠죠.
우선, 경험이 풍부한 선생님들만 계시는게 아니라 영어 공부하는데에 가장 적합한 시스템이 있다는걸 말씀드리고 싶구요. 두번째로 이곳에 오시면 매주 변하는 사 회 프로그램을 접하실 수 있을겁니다. 게다가 학교에서 제공하는 좋은 조건의 숙 소에서 머무르실 수도 있구요. 마지막으로 다양한 나라에서 온 많은 외국인 친구 들과 좋은 관계를 만들수 있다는걸 강조하고 싶습니다.
