Course English as a Foreign Language
In Korea, I was working as a merchandiser for a fashion company. In order to improve my career prospects and work for a global company, I needed to improve my English. London was my preferred place to study because of all the global brands there – and I enjoy shopping!
On the recommendation of my agent UK Edu Centre in Korea, I chose Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College and am very happy that I did. The English teachers are very friendly and supportive and made me feel very welcome – there is always someone to help me. They encouraged me to do some voluntary work for a charity. Here, I get to use my customer service skills and improve my English while helping people.
The college’s learning centre has many books and I can borrow DVDs too. There is also a good gym, which is free for students. I have made many new friends from different countries and it is interesting to talk to each other about our different cultures and share experiences.
I am planning to do an MA in Fashion Management in 2010. I know the experience I have gained so far will help me in my career progression.
