학교소개

매해 140여개의 나라에서 온 20,000여명 학생들이 약500개의 과정에서 공부하고 있는 대학교이다. 창의성과 실습위주의 학업이 가능하며, 특히 예술학부의 경우 세계수준의 예술학위과정을 운영한다. 1859년 설립이 되어, 150년 이상의 역사를 가지고 있으며 예술 창작 고급 전문가 양성에 주력하고 있다.

학교위치

브라이튼 대학교는 전공에 따라 영국 남부해안도시인 브라이튼, 이스트본, 헤이스팅스 캠퍼스로 나누어진다. 브라이튼은 런던의 에너지와 코스모폴리탄한 느낌을 가지고 있는 동시에 주변 환경은 편안한 커뮤니티이다. 여러 문화 행사 및 페스티벌이 열리며 North Laine 의 쇼핑가와 Brighton and Hove Albion Stadium 도 유명하다. 이스트본은 해변 리조트가 많은 도시로 유명하며, 약 3,000명의 브라이튼 대학교 학생들이 이곳에서 수업을 한다. 헤이스팅스는 브라이튼에서 대중교통을 이용해 1시간 정도 거리에 있는 해변도시이다. 라이브음악과 예술로 유명하다.
