리버풀은 영국에서 가장 안전한 도시로 평가 받는 곳으로 런던까지는 2시간30분이 소요되며 맨체스터까지 50분, 버밍엄 1시간 40분, 리즈 1시간 45분으로 주변 도시 이동이 자유롭다.

리버풀은 비틀즈의 도시라고 불릴만큼 음악을 비롯해 다양한 건축물과  많은 미술관과 박물관이 위치해 있으며 영국 프리미어리그의 리버풀 FC와 에버턴 FC 홈구장이 있는 복합 문화 예술의 도시이다.
